FuturixImager “Splash” α3

Saturday, September 5th, 2009

And another update – but this one will probably be interesting only for the plug-in developers ;-)

New features:

  • FuturixImager now correctly works with alpha channel in 32-bit images (except some filters in the editor) – for example now you can convert 32 bit PNG to 32 bit BMP and keep the transparency intact
  • Added support for 32 bit JPEG XR photos with transparency
  • Plug-in system changes: removed support for animation, reimplemented support for multi-page images (with quite noticeable speed up)

Download now (1.29 MB)

Please note that this is a very early preview of the next release of FuturixImager – it lacks many features that are expected of a normal image viewer and undoubtedly has a lot of bugs (but that is the point of alpha and beta releases, isn’t it?).
The next update (aka Alpha 4) will be available by the end of the next week (or earlier). I promise, it will be much more interesting :-)

FuturixTools are back

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

When I migrated website to a new engine, I totally forgot about FuturixTools – but fear no more, everything is fully restored now ;-)

Update:
Just a quick clarification – these are exactly the same tools as were published here a month ago, no updates or new features (so far).
