FuturixImager 6.0.2 is now available.
This is a bug-fix release.
Next weekend I will publish a new installer for FuturixImager 6.0.2 based on Windows Installer technology: I hoped to release it today but did not have enough time to test it very well, hence the delay.
Hi Alex, Thanks for the .0.2 release, the colour management is great now! I can ditch all the other image viewers for good!
However does it also work with pngs? I’m using this image here:

And it Futurix is showing different colours to Windows Picture Viewer. Just wondering which viewer is showing the more accurate picture.

No, Imager’s colour management only works with JPEGs and TIFFs when they have colour profile embedded. I will have a look at PNG colour management.
Do you have any example of the difference in comparison to Windows viewer?

Am getting crash/error issues on 6.02. When I go to “save as” FI usually updates the window with the save. This no longer happens. Sometimes I get a crash other times I get an error box and FI stops working so have to restart.
Have gone back to v6.0. All above problems vanished.
OS: XP SP3. 32bit.
Sorry for the trouble! This will be fixed in 6.0.3 to be released by the end of September.
