FuturixImager “Splash” α4

I missed my deadline by one hour – but at least I made it in the end ;-)

New features:

  • Reworked plug-in system with major performance optimisations, plug-in caching, and future-proof plug-in interfaces
  • Several plug-ins from 5.9.4 were ported to the new plug-in system (they will be available separately in the final release, but right now I put them all into the main installer – which is rather large because of this)

Coming up:
I’m planning to release final Alpha by the end of the week – it will be the last version with changes aimed at plug-in developers, after that I will start releasing Beta versions with new interesting features (finally!).

    Is there going to be an SDK for the betas? It might be good to start working on the translations early.

    Yes, of course!
    I need to rewrite the translation system first though.

    Thanks for this simple image viewer software. Its very small simple and superb.
    Small things really make an impact ,, sure this one would be a big hit !!

    Can you keep the plugins in the main installer please? Ora, you could have a main installer with the plugins included and another one without them… Thank your for futurix, a small simple but powerfull piece of software!!!!
